Ouche River Valley is in the Burgundy region of France. We saw where the grapes vines are grown. It's essentially the eastern side of a hill range that runs north to south. This provides rain and weather shelter from the prevailing westerly winds. The best wines of this region are typically grown from the middle and higher part of the slopes, where the vines have the best exposure to the sun and the best drainage.
